A remarkable early 19th C. Black Catalan terracotta cosi pot from the village of quart, Catalonia.
Incredibly rare XXL size.
Heavily patinated with age old repairs.
Originally used for the storage of wine &/or olive oil.
This Cosi pot (along with the other pair listed) have fantastic provenance… having been acquired from the wine cellar of the world famous “El Bulli” restaurant near the town of Roses, Catalonia.
