Fine Pair of Sheraton Style Pedestal Wine Cisterns, 19th Century

About the Item

A pair of early 19th century mahogany plate urns. The Urns are lead lined sitting on top of cupboards which have boxwood and satinwood string inlay. Unusually, they have the original brass and bone taps. One urn is designed for keeping plates hot, the other designed for cold plates. In a deep, dark mahogany with a clear patter nation, circa 1820. Measures: Height 151 cm Width 36 cm Depth 38.5 cm.
