- 21st Century Temperanza Jar Handmade and Hand Glazed in Italy by Ilaria BianchiBy Ilaria BianchiLocated in Milan, ITHand made and hand glazed Ceramic, Made in Italy Dishwasher-safe 21x Ø13 cm This Handcrafted and hand-glazed ceramic jug/vase is made in Grottaglie (Puglia), one of the most acknowledged Italian hubs for ceramics, and it is entirely hand glazed and decorated by the artist Ilaria Bianchi, this makes each piece unique as it traces the hand of the artist. Glazed with elegant and gestural traits this jar shows the image of the Temperance the XIV arcana of Tarot. This is a magical object, Temperanza is mixing the waters as a metaphor for mixing her inner feelings. She is connected to her body and her dance moves the oceans. This is a perfect object to be gifted, to show your presence and love for them. The item is perfect as a water jar to quench your guests' thirst or as a vase for fresh or dry flowers. Each piece of the Temperanza collection bears the artist's signature under the base. This object will be made for you at your request. Dishwasher-safe 21x Ø13 cm Every piece is handmade and so unique, every difference (most of the time unnoticeable ) is the trace of the artist that made it. Temperanza by Ilaria Bianchi promotes emotional relationships with our objects and intimate spaces. A production limited to the essential, an ethical manufacturing cycle involving materials, ancient traditional techniques and new methodologies, such us the "applicator baby bottle” method, an innovative way to hand-glaze ceramics. Temperanza is hand-made in Grottaglie (Puglia) in the prestigious Franco Fasano’s workshop and hand-glazed by the designer Ilaria Bianchi. Each element is handmade and therefore unique, every difference is the trace of the artist who created it. Temperanza’s objects tell us stories, things were never just things, tools to solve functional activities. Most of the time they embody symbolic and metaphorical values. The first human beings lived immersed in an "integrated" environment, devoid of a real separation between myth and nature. Temperanza offers small daily artworks created with a soul, which keep us company and reconnect us to the emotional power of objects, hoping to make our relationships with them more lasting and sustainable. Temperanza bridges our collective and private rituals. The means used...Category

- White Ceramic Sculptural Vase Italian Contemporary, 21st Century contemporaryBy Andrea SalvatoriLocated in London, GB"Composizione 40100 #11" (Maestoso con gioco), 2019, glazed earthenware, measures: H 41 x38 x 38cm Mix of hand-made and 3D printed - Unique piece Andrea Salvatori (Italy, 1975) is an internationally renowned visual artist working with the ceramic medium to realize often ironic and witty sculptures, sometimes involving a diverse selection of found objects, such as Murano glass vases, Meissen Porcelain miniatures or Ginori period ceramics sourced in flea markets around Europe. Salvatori’s works often begin with these items and proceed by the addition of elements masterfully created by the artist, generating an unexpected semantic shift. The result is unique, encompassing pop culture and kitsch aesthetics: a witty and effective way to turn reality upside-down and at the same time a powerful combination of exquisite craftsmanship and genuine irony. Andrea Salvatori was born on 3 of March 1975 in Faenza (Ra), Italy; he has graduated at the Istituto d’arte for Ceramic in Faenza in 1995, and he then graduated with a Degree in Sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Bologna in 2000. During his studies, Andrea learned the secrets of ceramics from the creative duo Bertozzi & Casoni having worked as an apprentice in their studio for many years at the same way as during Renaissance artists learned their practice with their Masters. Since 1997 he had several individual and collective exhibitions. In 2009 he won the first prize at the 56th edition of the prestigious Premio Faenza, the International Contest of Contemporary Art Ceramics, for which he classified second in the prior edition. In 2011 he classified second at the Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic...Category
