The FLOW Collection is a series of handmade textile art with roots in haute couture's flowing design techniques, combined with selected upcycled textiles from the design industry. This gives the collection a sensuous 3D effect with added tactility and shadow play – depending on the angle from which you view the work. FLOW is a plain-coloured flowing, triangular shape. The pieces are made from a selection of durable textiles in carefully curated color palettes. Each one made of 100% cotton and with an oak mount. FLOW is therefore a decorative design that works well as either wall art or as free-hanging decor in a large room or a bright and sunny window display with plenty of daylight. Applicata’s entire collection is based on the idea of creating "A SPECIAL GIFT FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION" To that end, we have allied ourselves with exciting design talents and artists. We have brought exclusive and genuine materials into play – and ensured that everything is produced in Scandinavia. Even our Eco-friendly gift boxes. Our design DNA is distinctive by taking the vibrant energy, aesthetics, and wildness found among new and rising design talents and artists and coupling it with traditional artisanship, ensuring that everything is produced at family-owned, Scandinavian workshops. That is how our new collection came into being. And this approach will be an existing springboard for future design collaborations.
