Three Vintage "Veckla" Vases Designed by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg

About the Item

Three "Veckla" vases designed by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg. Stig Lindberg designed the series in 1950, the series was composed of 12 bowls and vases with sculptural free form shapes. The series was made of stoneware with a matte white Carrara glaze. The series was manufactured between 1950 and 1960. The vases are as follows: Measures: Bowl #246, 6.75" L x 3.75" W x 2.5" H Vase #243, 8" L x 2.25" W x 7" H Vase #244, 6" L x 1.5" W x 5.75" H All three vases have full or partial embossed Gustavsberg markings, one vase has it's original decal.

    Wear consistent with age and use. The three pieces are in very good vintage condition. There are no cracks or chips, some pin point discolorations, some discoloration in the inside of one vase.
