Amethyst Vase with Art Deco Engraved Geometric Design

About the Item

A beautiful example of Postwar deco design and an early example of the developing Sklo style. This midcentury rectangular vase has been made in a light shade of amethyst on a raised foot, with abstract / geometric design engraved on the thick-walled body. Made in Bohemia in the early 1950s with a weighty 1.5 Kg body to give stability.
