Dutch Export Repousse Silver Pitcher, 19th C.

Antique Dutch export silver pitcher jug, with the lion passant mark for 833 silver used between 1814-1853 and the key mark used for export between 1853-1953, possibly with the maker's mark of Constantijn Huijgens (active Leeuwarden, 1901-1911), of hexagonal form with repousse scenes in bands around the surface.
