Sterling Coffee/Tea Pot

About the Item

We are delighted to offer you this sterling silver coffee/tea pot by Davis & Galt of Philadelphia. Although this piece is signed Shreve, Crump and Lowe it was in fact manufactured by Davis & Galt; Shreve sold it in their retail shops. An exquisite example of antique silver from the late 19th century. It’s over one hundred and twenty five years old so but we had it restored to its original beauty. Dents and scratches removed and polished professionally. The handle is wood and has a walnut finish. The base is square shaped and gives it a masculine, regal look. The hand engraved monogram is original to this piece. An amazing piece for either a collector or for someone who just loves beautiful objet d’art.
