Sterling “the Pilgrim” Water Pitcher

About the Item

We are happy to offer you this sterling silver water pitcher by Reed and Barton in “The Pilgrim” pattern from the early 1940’s. Sterling silver hollowware that was manufactured during the war was very understated and simple; a reflection of the time and vibe. This water pitcher is a product of that period. The simple lines and lack of decoration and etching; a somber reminder of the chaos all around. However it has a timeless, classic look that has withstood the test of time. Less is more and this piece is a great example.
