Sterling Silver (Etrog) Box

About the Item

Being offered is a sterling silver Etrog box. It is rectangular and stands on four feet. It has raised-work of flowers, leaves & swirls on the lid as well as on each panel. The inside is gold washed to protect it. What a beautiful way to perform the mitzvah of Etrog. (An Etrog is the yellow citron used by Jews during the week-long holiday of Sukkot as one of the four species. Together with the lulav, hadass, and aravah, the etrog is taken in hand and held or waved during specific portions of the holiday prayers.)
