19th Century 6 Arm Frosted Crystal Gasolier
About the Item
Victorian frosted glass and crystal chandelier. Originally gas. crown stem piece frosted and crosshatched glass, hung with full cut spear crystals. Below is a petal shaped dish hung with another ring of crystals. A vase shaped frosted cut glass stem piece sits just above the silver plate center cluster holding six clear cut glass arms. Each arm holds a frosted and cut glass bobeche with spear crystals and a candelabra socket with a crisp white candle cover. At the bottom is a large fluted frosted cut glass dish hung with a row of crystals and with a cut glass ball finial at the bottom. Carefully electrified, US 110-120V hardwired. Adapted from the original gas pole to hang from chain and canopy (included). Completely restored and rewired, ready to hang. Glass and Crystal elements in very good condition.

- Condition:Rewired: This piece was wired to have the least aesthetic impact. All crystal and glass parts were dissasembled and carefully cleaned. Arms are wired with clear wiring through the hollow glass tubing originally for gas. Wiring is to US 110-120V. Adapted from the original gas pole to hang from chain and canopy (included). Glass and Crystal elements in very good condition. Crystals have been replaced as needed and have been restrung. Metal check rings that were corroded have been replaced.
