20th Century Italian Modern Crystal Glass Chandelier by Angelo Mangiarotti

About the Item

A gold-white, vintage Mid-Century modern Italian chandelier on a rectangular chrome base, the Giogali glass pieces, rings are made of hand blown clear crystal glass, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in good condition. The large three tiered pendant is composed circa with three-hundred glass pieces hanging on the frame, interlocking with each other, permitting any length, featuring a two light socket. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1960 - 1970, Milan, Italy. Ceiling fixture: 52.5" H x 25" W x 16" D Base: 4.25" H x 28" W x 11.5" - 16" D Glass piece: 3" - 4" H x 3" W Angelo Mangiarotti was an Italian designer born and passed away in Milan, Italy. Mangiarotti's personal life and professional training remains lost in history.
