Rare pendant light attributed to Svend Aage Holm Sørensen. Very beautiful “diabolo” lampshade held by a double brass stem, which gives it its originality. A bright, sleek design with up and down lighting, and a solid metal and brass frame. Holm Sørensen designed lighting fixtures for major Danish manufacturers Fog & Mørup and Lyfa in the 1950s, before founding his own company Holm Sørensen A/S. His creations from the 1950s reflecting the style of mid-century modern lighting, such as his pendant lights with brass and copper surfaces, arouse great interest among collectors.
