Oscar Torlasco (1934 - 2004)
A stunning Sputnik chandelier by Oscar Torlasco in mirror-polished brass, with fourteen striated arms — alternating long and short — extending dramatically from a central rhombus with rounded edges, each culminating in a contrasting smooth elongated cone and bulb. The striated shaft, bookended by two moveable cones of subtly different dimensions, is adjustable in height as seen in the photographs.
Rewired for use in the United States with fourteen American candelabra-base bulbs.
