About the Item
PAIR OF ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP'S LANTERNS IN RED & GREEN FRESNEL LENS
England, circa 1900
Item # 301PAY23Z
A wonderful aged pair of brass ship's lanterns with original red and green fresnel lenses from the turn of the century, each features a beautifully patinated body with extensive discoloration and oxidization from years on the oceans. They have never been electrified or modified, but we can certainly electrify them for modern use upon request.
Measurements: 16 3/4" H (20" H with handle up) x 10" D x 10" W
Condition Report:
Tarnished, oxidized and generally discolored surfaces from years of exposure; light dents, dings and abrasions throughout; internal oil lamp components unchecked for completeness and will likely require attention of a specialist to function again.
