Four Silvered Bronze Adam Style Sconces With Green Wedgwood Plaques

About the Item

This set of four cast bronze sconces are of the finest quality and feature Neo-Classical motifs in the Robert Adam style so popular in the George III period, including rams heads and acanthus leaves. They are mounted with signed Wedgwood sage green jasper ware plaques featuring Classical figures. The sconces retain their original silver plating which has been newly re-laquered to prevent tarnishing. They have been re-wired and are ready for use.
