Pair of 19th Century French Chinoiserie Lamps with Slate Bases
About the Item
A pair of 19th century garniture vases with Belgian slate bases now as lamps.
This fine pair were lamped early in the 20th century as was the custom to fill the desire for high quality lighting early on that was simply not available. The bulbous shaped urns have beautifully cast handles and bases and carved stone bases. The shades are for photographic purposed only and not included with the lamps
The measure 18" tall to the top of the urn, 22 " to the top of the socket and 28" to the top of the shade shown.
