Victoria standing on a gold ball in a long, pleated robe, carrying a vase with a central shaft and 7 curved light arms with round drip plates and cylindrical spouts, on a stepped pedestal. Rich bronze fittings and applications.
Princely grand candelabra after Pierre Philippe Thomire (1751-1843)
Extremely finely chased and cast bronze. Fully plastic figures (Victoria). Carrying on the head and supporting with the hands a bowl with six cornucopia. This model belongs to the specially proportioned chandeliers. Designed by Charles Percier. He was a French architect of the Empire, a form of classicism created under Napoleon
(T-Sam-1a).
