Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Belle Époque Period Girandole Lamps
About the Item
A stunning pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period ormolu and Baccarat crystal girandole lamps. Each eight arm lamp is raised by a unique and most decorative ormolu base with ball feet and fine beautifully scrolled supports leading upwards. At the centers are magnificent Baccarat crystal daggers encased by most impressive scrolled cages with additional superb smaller daggers. Each of the arms are adorned with an exceptional array of extremely high quality teardrop, kite and cut Baccarat crystal pendants. The top of the cages and the majestic top crowns display rare and spectacular apple and pear shaped crystal pendants amidst additional cut crystals.
