Large shabby gilt overmantel
The over mantel as it name implies was made to sit over the mantel piece and as so many fireplaces are opposite the window mirrors were used to reflect more light into the room
The old gold frame is 3.5” wide and it is in original shabby condition
This is a large piece with age darkened gilt frame the looking glass has sparkle and much foxing
The mirror is 54” high, 47” wide
