Mildred Ball Jewelry Cufflinks and Tie Tack Pin

About the Item

Rare and early work by Mildred Ball, these cufflinks and tie pin were purchased in Winston-Salem where Mildred got her start. The "Ball" without the "r" mark denotes her very earliest work. These are extraordinary with intricate sterling patterns used within ebony. All examples are signed. The holder on the back of the pin is new and not original. These bear striking resemblance and would suit any men's Jewelry by Peter Macchiarini. Produced circa 1955 at the time she performed the Walker Exhibit. Each cufflink measures 3/8" tall, 1/2" wide and 5/8 long. Tie Pin is 3/8" tall, 1/2" wide and 15/16" tall.
