Early 19th century mahogany stick barometer by Tagliaue & Torre of 294 Holborn, London, having an architectural top with a central brass finial, rectangular silvered dial with a glazed and hinged door, the dial itself displays weather notations and has a mercury thermometer, lovely quality case with inlaid stringing and having a visible tube, the bottom of the barometer having a turned cistern cover to cover the base also attaches is a brass screw for transportation. circa 1810.
