About the Item

Made in 2013 by Naomi Clark Wool blanket with dye, paint and appliqué Naomi Clark’s Quilt Paintings are made from vintage camp blankets culled from EBay, flea markets and garage sales. She refigures the old blankets to create abstract and colorful tapestries and describes her process as “painting with fabric.” Beyond painting the blankets, Naomi uses other processes such as dyeing, cutting, appliquéing, and embroidery to make the Quilt Paintings.
