About the Item

A superb antique South Caucasian Moghan Kazak long rug with two vertical rows of 'Memling guls' within octagons. The rug has a traditional border for rugs from this region. Superb colour and typical Kazak weave. Great condition, even wear with good pile. Hand washed and ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. Additional information: Origin: South Caucasus Age: Circa 1890 Size: 9ft 0in x 4ft 0in (275 x 123cm) Reference: H-371.
