About the Item

They are carpets that we used in Buddhist temples as a seat for parties or religious services. Knotted in Tibet were in large numbers exported to Nepal. The decoration is characterized by five square modular elements, which correspond to the seats. Each of these elements has a perimeter frame decorated with geometric elements with a double key, without a solution of continuity, the medallion of the center has a floral decoration while the cantonal ones are decorated with the motif "water earth", all elements of Buddhist iconography.
