A Navajo saddle blanket in banded design with beautiful natural earth tone colors including red, brown, caramel set on a taupe background separated by narrow bands from the mid 1900s.. The design of this Navajo rug resembles the design of the Navajo Corn Husk bags. Navajo rugs can easily be used on the floor or used as wall art. Navajo rugs are generally flat woven with wool for the body of the rug and usually cotton foundation. Navajo weavers use natural organic dyes that are available around their tribal land.
