Pair of Rare Early Victorian Oak Library Chairs
About the Item
A pair of wonderful early Victorian library chairs upholstered in green leather, with buttoned backs and seats.
- Leather in good condition, without cracks or significant wear.
- Brown ceramic castors.
- Deep, low seats.
- Attractively carved throughout, with a curved, sleigh shaped back.
These chairs will look stunning in a traditional library setting, or in a drawing room with a Victorian style interior. They bring to mind the atmosphere of a gentleman's club. The castors mean that they are easy to move around in any space.
