Sculptural Lounge Chairs in Oak, France, 1960s

About the Item

Set of two sculptural lounge chairs in oak, France, 1960s. Set of two sculptural armchairs, these chairs are made of French oak and sculpturally crafted by hand in France in the 1960s. The craftsmanship is still visible; they are made of solid oak wood and constructed with visible joints; these chairs have an organic appearance in excellent original condition with a great patina. When you choose for used midcentury design, you use what is already there, making it sustainable. You may not give the furniture a second, but even a third or fourth life. Midcentury design furniture is often a high-quality product that lasts several lives for a reason. Some furniture has a rich history, and the story is still visible or tangible with some. The signs of wear give a glimpse into the previous owner's life.
