Unique armchairs from Morzinsky Palace, Prague 1925
About the Item
Pair of beautiful wooden carved armchairs in the manner of Viennese Modernism. This particular unique pieces were manufactured for the embassy of then Romanian kingdom in Prague, Czechoslovakia in baroque Morzinsky Palace (built by Jan Santini Aichel in 1714) where it was placed upon it's opening in 1925. Made of oak wood with brass endings on the legs. Both chairs remain in its very good original condition. Wood and fabric were expertly cleaned. Structurally sound.
