c. 1929 Leather upholstery, Macassar Ebony. Designed by Lars W. Schlyter for Slöjdföreningens School in Gothenburg, Sweden for the Stockholm Exhibition 1930. H 90 cm/35,4 in. x SH 43 cm/16,9 in. Exhibited: The Stockholm Exhibition 1930 (Stockholmsutställningen 1930). Exhibition hall no 8 for luxurious interiors, room no 9. Literature: Slöjdföreningens skola på Stockholmsutställningen 1930, bilder av skolans utställningsföremål med text av Sigfrid Ericson, Göteborg 1931 Slöjdföreningens Skola was at this time an important school for arts and crafts in Sweden. It was represented in all the major exhibitions in Sweden in the early 20th century. The school was lead between the years 1915-1945 by renowned architect Sigfrid Ericson.
