About the Item
The dining room collection is inspired by the construction of Viking boats and influenced by my internship at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. My aim was to design furniture with its aesthetics based on the construction. The visible joints and edges form a significant and decorative part of the design.
Meticulously designed and handcrafted in the Czech Republic.

Jiri Krejcirik, product and spatial designer, based in Prague. Creating new forms of decorativism, my work reimagines European cultural heritage through a contemporary lens. Threading the past and the present with my signature visual language, my portfolio encompasses furniture and lighting as well as glass art objects. I pay homage to craftsmanship. All of my products are locally hand-crafted in the Czech Republic, produced in a limited series and displayed only in meticulously chosen galleries and design showrooms in Europe, Australia and the US.
