About the Item

Charming set of six Italian mid-century modern dining chairs featuring distinctive pierced slat backs in the style and manner of Billy Haines. The chairs have a graceful curved hump back and turned legs in the front ending with brass sabots. The seats have a vintage silk brocade fabric that is faded and aged as seen in photos. The whimsical backs have minor age cracks in the finish which are difficult to see. Impressive profile and design with solid joinery. Price is for the set of six.
