Set of Six Fine French Semi-Antique Paint Decorated Dining Chairs
About the Item
Elegant Louis XV style with overall carved details in a greige paint. The shaped crest rails with acanthus leaves and the splats with scrolled shell motifs. Ribbon carved skirt and floral carved cabriole legs. The comfortable shaped seats upholstered in a pink moire type fabric.
Measures: H. 36", W. 20", Depth 18", seat H. 17 1/2"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. There is some minor loose joinery to a few of the chairs, the seats with some stains but can be reupholstered, some expected age-related wear to the crest rails, arm ends and splats with the set presenting very well.
