Poul Volther Lounge Chair by Erik Jørgensen, 1960s Denmark

About the Item

Beautiful and rare lounge chair designed by Poul Volther and produced by Erik Jørgensen in the early 1960s. Wonderful combination of oak and patinated leather. The chair is in good original condition, consistent with its age. One zipper has been replaced. The chair was acquired in the early 1960s directly from Erik Jørgensen and has always been used and well taken care of by the first owner. Some marks and scratches on the leather but it has aged beautifully. Very well designed and crafted piece of Danish furniture.
