English 1900s Steel and Brass Upholstered Curule Stool with Lion Paw Feet
About the Item
An English steel and brass upholstered stool from the turn of the century. This English stool circa 1900 features a modified curule-shaped body with double curvature, raised on brass lion paw feet and topped with beaded medallion finials of the same color. The arms are connected two by two with braided stretchers, echoed in a more simplified form on the lower stretchers. The rectangular top is covered in a simple muslin. The beautiful contrast between the dark hue of the steel construction and golden accent of the brass, combined with the lovely curule shape make this English stool a wonderful choice for any décor, from modern to traditional.
