1920´s Bank of Drawers

About the Item

Large drawer cabinet from the 1st half of the 20th century. Elegant solid wood body with rounded corners and a total of 36 drawers with the original handles under a slightly protruding top panel. The drawers in the left-hand column have been shortened in depth over the course of their existence (4 small drawers + 1 large drawer, see photos). Dimensions: 107.5 cm (42.32 inch) high, 259 cm (101.96 inch) wide, 39 cm (15.35 inch) deep. Internal drawer dimensions: 29 drawers each 13.5 cm (5.31 inch) high, 25 cm (9.84 inch) wide, 28.5 cm (11.22 inch) deep. 3 drawers (depth shortened) each 13.5 cm (5.31 inch) high, 25 cm (9.84 inch) wide, 18 cm (7.08 inch) deep. 4 large drawers (including 1 drawer with cut-out) each 19 cm (7.48 inch) high, 55 cm (21.65 inch) wide, 28.5 cm (11.22 inch) deep. Thanks to the exceptionally shallow depth of just 39 cm (15.35 inch) at the top, the unit is also ideal for narrow passageways and hallways.
