Late 19th Century China Trade Sea Captain's Chest

About the Item

Late 19th century China Trade Sea Captain's chest, circa 1880. Aluminum banding and steel handles with double locks (one missing). The trunk lid interior is fitted with an aluminum seal that sits down on raised camphor wood edge for an air tight compartment.
