1930s Solid Walnut Queen Anne-Style Buffet
About the Item
This is a stately piece from the 1930s, and one that is in extraordinarily excellent condition. It is a rare find having been made from solid walnut with burled wood on the front drawers. The wood (including the surface of the buffet) is beautifully maintained and the color rich and warm. The drawer and door hardware is antique brass, that has a beautiful low-luster patina. This piece was designed as a buffet or sideboard. It can also be used as a credenza or office piece, as it has ample storage capacity.
If you are looking for a dining room, this piece coordinates with the Queen Anne-style dining chairs and armchair, also listed here on Storied Loot.
