18th Century French Provincial Oak Cupboard or Cabinet

About the Item

A French provincial Louis XV sideboard from the 18th century. Made of solid oak wood with waxed surface. Two-door side-cassetted corpus with rounded edges and slightly overhanging profiled top plate. Doors of frame construction with fillings sawn out in a curved manner towards the top, hung on large iron fittings on the outside. Fitted with a shelf on the inside. Exceptionally beautiful warm wood tone with patina. Original iron fittings. Old traces of woodworm (of course not active!) and former restoration (among others newer lock mounted). Dimensions: 127,5 cm high / 50.2 inch high, 129 cm wide / 50.8 inch wide, 57,5 cm deep / 22.6 inch deep. Shelf depth: 47 cm / 18.5 inch.
