About the Item
Flap supported by corbelled feet, the broken and leaf spring-moved front has three drawers plus one from the smaller size placed in the undercounter band, in the upper part a shaped door conceals scarab with central curved door and two pairs of side drawers. Walnut veneer, with walnut burl reserves and maple fillets; poplar interior.
Of Emilian production, a similar limelight is published by Luisa Bandera (Italian Regional Furniture. Il mobile emiliano, DeAgostini Görlich, Milano,1972, p. 132, fig. 156), where it is reported to be Bolognese in scope.
