This is an old Japanese black drawer.
It was used in a private house in the Tohoku region of Japan.
It seems to be around the Meiji period.
Over the years, the expression created by soot is natural and very beautiful.
The material is cedar, which rubs due to the passage of time and use, and has a unique and beautiful expression that can not be created by human hands.
Because the depth is shorter than the general Tansu, it seems to be good to put it in a corridor and combine it with a flower ware.

- Condition:Repaired: ・We are cleaning and disinfecting. ・It's smooth because I adjusted the drawer and the doorway. These are repaired in-house and carefully restored so as not to damage the atmosphere of the used age. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. There are chips at the bottom of both sides of the main body.Please check the photo.
