Japanese antique wooden drawer/1788/Edo period/Wabi-Sabi furniture

About the Item

This is a drawer made in the late Edo period of Japan. The year name is written in black ink on the back of the drawer, ``Tenmei 8th Year,'' and the year of production, 1788, is clearly written. It also says temple, so it is thought that this is a drawer that was used there. The drawers are made of pine and cedar, and are simple and non-decorative, creating a calm atmosphere. It's black with soot and looks cool. It goes well with other antique furniture and furniture with a modern design. Inserting and removing drawers is smooth. The lower left drawer is missing part of the side. I don't think this is a part you are too concerned about, but please be sure to check the detailed images. Items with the Edo period era name written on them are rare and rare. This is a wonderful drawer that gives you a sense of wabi-sabi. it's recommended. Weight: 17.25kg
