Is it a cabinet? Yes! What about a low bench? Also… YES!!! This is an incredible vintage Spanish Revival Rustic style credenza or low bench cabinet in the style of Artes De Mexico Internationales comprised of a luscious dark wood frame with an all-over purposeful patina which we think looks phenomenal and simply adds historic character to its vintage beauty. The low cabinet has a hardboard back and the top features a framed brown leather looking inset with metal stud details on the surrounding edges. It has a single drawer with double panels, metal stud details on all four corners, and two lovely, antiqued metal handles. It bears a curved detail on both sides of the drawer which retain a wonderful, hammered dark metal applique, and it stands upon four hand carved turned straight legs. I mean… IT’S MARVELOUS!!!!! This would be a fabulous piece at the end of your bed to remove your shoes or open your suitcase or you could easily have a cushion made for the top and use it as a bench. You could use it in an entry or hall as a low console table with a big mirror or large piece of art above it, wouldn’t that look magnificent? We certainly think so!! So, call it a credenza, call it a cabinet, or call it a low bench, BUT whatever you decide to call this functional, versatile, exceptional piece, you simply MUST call it YOURS!!!!
