Swedish Painted Cupboard, 19th Century

About the Item

A flat backed Scandinavian cupboard with an interesting shape and lots of charm, suitable for wall mounting or it could be a quirky tabletop or countertop feature. Fitted with two shelves and a tall storage space inside the cabinet and with a drawer below. The finish is an attractive old tan colored distressed paint finish over an earlier reddish brown stain that shows through in places. The whole piece is waxed, and has a wonderful honey scent from the beeswax. Some worming, patina, signs of age and use throughout. H: 51 ¾ W: 47 ¾ D: 15 ½
