BALKWILL & PATCH Antique 19th Century Empire Style Rosewood Dresser with Mirror

About the Item

An antique Empire style dresser with attached mirror by Balkwill & Patch Furniture Co. Rosewood with classic Empire styling, upper gallery with curved outward mirror support arms, rectangular rosewood framed mirror, slightly curved outward sides, rounded top drawers, scroll front feet and on casters. Features four drawers of dovetail construction with wood knobs and locks. Locks untested, no key present. Made in Chicago, Illinois, USA, in the late 19th century. Measures: 45.5w 24d, To Top of Mirror: 66h, To Top of Dresser: 33.5h, Mirror Adds: 32.5h Very good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. Some blemishes to top and nicks to feet. Some silvering to mirror glass. Mirror removes for shipping. Drawers function properly. Locks untested, no key present. Structurally sound and sturdy.
