Stunning Karl Johan Swedish birch secretary or "bureau" with twelve inner drawers surrounding a 3-part central cubie area. Exterior has one upper and three lower large drawers. Please enlarge photos to appreciate the remarkable beauty of the burled birch and clean lines of the design. A key is used as a "pull" for the exterior longer drawers, at least 2 skeleton keys will be included with purchase. This handsome desk has been restored, it is strong, stable and ready to be used and enjoyed. Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this exceptional Swedish bureau.
