Mid-Century French Gilt Brass Oval Two-Tier Service Trolley Bar Cart on Castors

About the Item

This elegant vintage rolling bar cart was created in France, circa 1960. Built in brass and oval in shape, the two-tier plateau trolley stands fluted legs supports topped with decorative finials, and ending with small casters at the base. The top deck, dressed with side handles, features a removable tray with inset glass, and decorated with a pierced gallery rim; the stationary bottom tray, also with original glass is set inside a pierced gallery, and fitted with six bottle compartment rack. The Classic serving cart is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gilt brass finish. The service table is practical and convenient, and could also be used to serve cheese, dessert or tea during or after a meal! Measures: 21.75" W x 14.75" D x 22.75" H.
