George IV Pollard Oak Writing Desk
About the Item
A very fine George IV pollard oak writing table, with original Moroccan red leather and exceptional patination to the oak. In the manner of George Smith. The Tooled red leather writing slope with easel support flanked by hinged compartments on pilaster supports joined by an acanthus carved baluster knopped stretcher, the plinths with carved lion paw feet and recessed castors.
