Large 17th-18th century Chinese dining table or calligraphy table (work table).
Original thick yellowish lacquer with a charming radiance and patina due to the natural age-related wear of the lacquer, highlighted by a clear lacquer finish.
Shanxi Province, China, 17th-18th century.
