19th Century French Louis Philippe Butcher Table - Antique Beech Kitchen Table
About the Item
A late 19th Century, antique French Louis Philippe Butcher Block table made of hand crafted Beechwood, in good condition. Heavy wood corpus with Rhombus shaped detail on the fluted legs with a scalloped decorative apron and original brass hardware. The metal label reads “Baland constructeur Lyon - Vaise”. Beautifully used when placed in a kitchen equally practical as decorative. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1870 - 1890, France.
